With over 16 years of teaching experience, Betina leads students to enjoy ear training, sight reading and writing, rhythm compositions and training, as well as professionalism through focus, energy, body language, and practice techniques. Many inspirations include Kodaly and Viola Spolin techniques.

– Appears in the feature films Mona Lisa Smile, and Disney’s Enchanted

BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College
– Helen Tamaris Dance awardee and graduate of La Guardia H.S. of the Performing Arts
– Studied Voice with Metropolitan Opera singer Betsy Nordon and Broadway teacher John Baylis
– Artistic Director of Garden Players Musical Theater Program for Kids (1-8th grade)
– Teaching artist for Dancing Classrooms and NYC Children’s Theater
– Dance Instructor at Studio E and Wagner College, teaching advanced dance classes

Performing at Carnegie Hall, 2nd place winner of the American Protege competition.
Making it to the 3rd callback for the role of Matilda in the Broadway show, down to 50 kids out of over 1,000 kids who auditioned.)

Private Lesson Studio Equipment

Chairs, music stands, instrument stands, classical guitar cushion, classical footstool, piano, keyboard, organ, guitar amps, guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, drum set. Students usually provide their own instruments but it’s possible to borrow an instrument during the lesson at the studio on the first lesson.
