July News

What creative projects, family fun, and adventures are you having this July?

I’m in New Hampshire enjoying the Saco River, singing Save Your Love For Me (Nancy Wilson), reading The Deluge (an epic climate futuristic tale), planning upcoming new classes, and finding chillin’ time before performances.

Here’s some creative shares:

Our May 2024 Show Videos

Red Cast Sunday Show Video

We have two casts for our shows. Friday kids perform in the Red Cast for two shows. This is the Sunday 2pm, May 12th, 2024 show.

Blue Cast Sunday Show Video

Tuesday kids perform in the Blue Cast. This is the Sunday 5pm show. (Toby was sick, so Hypatia, our red cast Park Ranger Parlie, ran back to help out the cast. Chloe was also ready and took some of Toby’s lines as well.)

The Scooches on Zoom

We’ve been busy recently performing at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and even for a charity in San Francisco via Zoom from our dining room. Enjoy the set.

Thank You

For all that you do to help this theater garden grow!

Thanks For Playing Your Part

in our Garden Players Theater Community!

Your support, your creativity, your participation makes theater magic possible! Garden Players has put on productions as early as 1916 – over 100 years – and has put on Betina’s originals since 2004’s production of Lemontales – 20 years of original musicals for kids to perform under the direction of Betina Hershey! Thank you!

We are thankful for everyone who has performed in a show, volunteered backstage, taken an ad in our playbill, spread the word, bought a ticket to a show, and donated money.

Currently, we are raising money for sound improvements such as a new, high-quality mixing board which will allow us to adjust feedback and turn up the volume on our hanging mics.
